Executive Director of NILI
B.A. in Bible from Evangel University. Masters and Ph.D. in Philosophy from St. Louis University. Dr. Hall has 25 years of teaching experience at the university level in Philosophy, Theology and Topics in Ministry. He is also an Ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene and Pastored nine years on the Missouri District. Stan returned to the United States in June of 2011 to Pastor at Gateway Church of the Nazarene in Bridgeton, MO. However he is still very involved in NILI as the Executive Director of NILI and works alongside the Universities in recruitment.
Director of NILI
Bachelor in Accounting. Bachelor of Theology. Masters in Education. Lucy teaches several subjects. Her teaching experience has been obtained in Sunday School, the Nazarene Christian School in Riobamba, Ecuador, Compassion International, and in the NILI program. Lucy worked as the Assistant to the Executive Director of NILI for four years before being chosen as the new on campus Director of NILI.
Assistant to the Director & Coordinator of Ministry
B.A. in Music Education from Messiah College. She taught elementary music education for 5 years in a Pennsylvania Public School. June of 2006 she moved to Venezuela to serve as a volunteer missionary with the Church of the Nazarene. There she taught English in various schools. In January of 2008 she moved to Ecuador to work on studying Spanish. Jennifer participated in the first semester of NILI and after studying Spanish with NILI for 6 months she was asked to be the coordinator of Ministry for the program. In addition to coordinator of Ministry she is also the assistant to the Director.
Currently studying a Bachelor in Educational Science with a focus on Language and Literature in the Technical University of Loja. She holds a Bachelor in Theology from the South American Nazarene Theological Seminary and has a high school degree in Electricity. She has obtained her educational experience as Assistant to the Dean of Students at the Nazarene Seminary, as a secular tutor, and in working with a Compassion International Project within a Church of the Nazarene.
María Teresa Freire studied in the University of Cuenca and with the Ecuadorian Association for Radio and Television. She has a technical degree in Social Communicaion and as a Radio and Television presenter her specialty is in Oral Expression and Diction. Maria Teresa has been teaching Spanish since 1997.
B.S. in Spanish Education from Olivet Nazarene University. During her time at Olivet, she served as a resident assistant, a T.A. in the Spanish department, and studied at NILI during it's 3rd semester. After graduating she taught high school Spanish for 4 years in a Chicago Public School. Jessie's professional development includes ACTFL's OPI training, which she used to develop NILI's OPI Prep course.
Coordinator of Transportation
Official car for the NILI program and looking very official with it's little tie. It gets us where we are going and brings us home safely. We love the Sprinter it is a HUGE part of the NILI family!
